My experience with Akins Ford of Athens was fantastic. I was an out of state customer who found a car via the Akins Ford of Athens web site.
I worked with Keith Dean via Email and Phone prior to visiting the dealership and he was extremely responsive and helpful in answering my questions. Having to buy a car without seeing it in person can be tough so Akins Ford allowed me to drive over and have the car inspected with no commitment to buy. The car checked out beautifully and Akins Ford worked with me to agree on a fair price for the vehicle.
Keith Dean and Keith Knoerr took the hassle out of the car buying experience and were more than helpful in meeting my needs.
I would recommend Akins Ford of Athens to anyone who is looking to buy a new or used car. Their staff is friendly and honest.

After visiting several dealers in the area that were unable to finance us, in spite of good credit and a down payment, and after waiting several hours, we went to Akins Ford. We explained our situation and Matt was confident he could help us. It took less than an hour from the time we walked in the door until we had our vehicle, at a reasonable price, financed through Ford at a reasonable interest rate and at a payment we could afford. We would definitely recommend this dealership!

This is the first vehicle I have bought since 2004, because of the over zealousness of some car salesmen. Keith was very personable, low key, answered every question, let us take our time, permitted us to drive more than one vehicle, showed immense patience, and let us make the decision on what vehicle suited our needs.

Andrew Todd and his team at Akins found a way to get my business. They worked hard for my business and when we got close they were flexible. This is my second purchase from Akins and it's been a good experience both times. I will continue to buy from Akins. Ask for Andrew Todd. He will work you pretty hard but it's only because he's trying to earn your business.

Prior to arriving at the dealership, I had corresponded with Andrew Todd online. Andrew did an excellent job of communicating with me via email and helping me narrow my search and options and completing a good amount of the paperwork before I even set foot in the door. Andrew met me out in the parking lot at our scheduled appointment time and took me right to the car I was looking for (Ford Mustang). After reviewing my various options and taking a test drive we moved inside to complete the necessary paperwork. While we were completing the paperwork a thunderstorm complete with wind and hail started. Andrew went outside and moved my new Mustang into the detail shop. Too bad I didn't catch a picture of him soaking wet!
Andrew Todd excels at communication. He listened to my needs and concerns and addressed each one without hesitation. The ability to streamline the process online before arriving at the dealership saved me a great deal of time and hassle. I would recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a new car or truck. Top notch guy.

We showed up at the dealer with the intent to buy a vehicle at 15 minutes before closing time on a week night. Andrew Todd helped us find the vehicle we wanted right away, let us go for a test drive, and both he and Keith Knoerr stayed late into the evening to get the deal done for us. Both guys were very kind and it was the best car buying experience we've ever had. You could tell that these two gentlemen really enjoy their work. We got a great price on our new vehicle and a good deal on our trade.

My wife and I purchased a new Ford F150 at Akins Ford of Athens after having numerous problems with a NEW Chrysler product purchased at a different dealership. Leroy Haynes and the Akins staff made purchasing this truck a wonderful experience. I'm glad to know that Akins is still committed to making the customer happy both before and after the sale, which is something that I cannot say for other dealerships. Rest assured that if you purchase from Akins, they will go the extra mile for you.
